A. STBC does administer a small business loan program through the Siletz Tribal Revolving Credit Program (STRCP). You must be an enrolled member in The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians and have at least a 51% ownership stake in the business to be eligible. More information can be found at Small Business Loan Program.
A. There is not a set amount of time. The STRCP Board typically meets once a month to review applications for a small business loan. Most often, STBC's team reviews the applicant materials and offers guidance as well to help fascilitate the process.
A. There is no minimum amount and the largest amount is $10,000 for any one loan.
A. The interest rate of the loan is set at prime + one (1)%. The payment schedule is usually once per month and the length of term is dependent on the size of the loan.
A. The mininum credit score to receive a loan is 580. There are a number of tools available to examine your credit score and dispute any errors.
A. Yes, you can have a co-signer on the loan and they can be a non-Tribal member. The same credit score minimum and other requirements remain in effect.
