As an employee of the Siletz Tribal Business Corporation (STBC), the Information Systems Representative (ISR) will strive to achieve the mission of enforcing and complying with all relevant laws, Tribal/State Compact, regulations, ordinance, charter, internal controls, policies and procedures in order to maintain the honesty, integrity, fairness, and security of the Siletz Tribal Business Corporation Information Technology (IT) and Information Services (IS) Operation(s). Chief Executive Officer

Job Function

The Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) is responsible for providing expertise and direction to the management of enterprises operating under the Siletz Tribal Business Corporation (“STBC”). The primary focus of the CEO is in the areas of the development and successful implementation of the capital investment strategy and business objectives, financial management and the successful operation of its business units. The CEO assists and direct activities, enabling STBC to achieve its economic development goals: establish revenues and profit goals, cost reductions and strategic action plans to improve and strengthen STBC interests.

The CEO also assists and advises enterprise management in the preparation of operation status reports, budgets and business plans and provide similar assistance for such STBC programs and departments as may be directed from time to time by the STBC Board of Directors.

The Property and Business Development Manager (PBDM) working under the direct supervision of the STBC CEO is responsible for organizing and coordinating the project activities of enterprise and property management along with daily coordination of business development activities at the STBC..

Michael has lived on the central Oregon coast since 2002. A United States Army Reserve Veteran, he enjoys writing, Shakespeare, reading and tinkering with computers. He also serves on the City of Depoe Bay Planning Commission.

Controller

Job Function

The Controller is responsible for all activities of the Finance and Accounting Department to achieve the objectives established by the CEO of the Siletz Tribal Business Corporation. The Controller is responsible for the accounting of company's overall financial plans, policies, budgets and maintaining positive relationships with financial institutions; ensures the financial accounting system is accurate, efficient and in accordance with professional accounting practices and regulations.

IS Systems Representative

Job Function

Maintain network infrastructure, servers and workstations to include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and new hardware/software implementation. Maintain STBC and enterprise electronic records management system. Maintain STBC and enterprise domain hosting and website changes. Evaluate, Plan and Submit Annual Information Technology budget for STBC and its enterprises. Maintain, support and troubleshoot STBC and enterprise Database infrastructure to ensure information is accurate and safeguarded. Develop, test, and modify software applications for STBC and enterprise programs and departments. Select or design specific kinds of computers, servers and related peripheral devices. Assist with STBC or enterprise projects, user support, and computer/printer maintenance.

Provide technical assistance and coordinate computer related training activities for STBC and enterprise staff and system users. Research and analyze current technologies, and present to management future organizational projects and strategic applications of management information systems. Develop and Maintain STBC and enterprise Information Systems policies and procedures. Develop strategic applications of management information systems for the STBC and its enterprises. Manage STBC and enterprise invoicing to other entities against services provided on, per memorandum of understanding (MOU). Provide IS Support for STBC and its enterprises as directed by the CEO. Maintain, support and troubleshoot building access control system for Lincoln Shores Office Suites and other properties as applicable. Maintain STBC and enterprise Information Technology inventory. Other duties as assigned.
